LARGE DOLPHINS:

ORCA, NARWHAL & BELUGA

Ornicus orca, Monodon monoceros, Delphinapterus leucas

The largest members of the dolphin family. While the orcas are spread out in all of the oceans, the beluga whales live in the Arctic Ocean, and the narwhal can only be found in the seas around the northern icecap. Amongst the three of them they cover all the oceans! Like all other marine mammals, they have complex social skills, they are harmless towards humans and yet their existence in threatened by human behaviour.
